5th Annual TNT Michigan Challenge Cup
August 13-15, 2010, Lansing MI
It was a hot with overcast skies which made it almost bearable.
This was the first games for most of the Rovers teams.
If you think that winning trophies in the first tournament is important, you would be disappointed in our results since no trophies were won.
If you know that our goal was to attend a local (within driving distance) tournament, get some games under our belts, get playing time for all our players and get everyone home safely, we were almost successful. One of U14 players, Charlie Bacle was taken down from behind and early reports indicated a possible broken wrist and some damage to the elbow. We are waiting word back from the Bacles.
Most of the opponents our teams played where existing teams who have played together longer and who are playing at higher levels in MSPSP then our teams. With this in mind, losses can be accepted as part of the dvelopmet process.
